McAllen Ranch Stallions
McAllen Ranch Horses ... Falling Back On Tradition
McAllen Ranch holds true to its philosophy of old traditions, new ideas when it comes to its
superior ranch horses.
Origins of the McAllen Ranch horses come from early AQHA foundation bloodlines such as Poco Bueno, Yellow Jacket, Leo, and many others.
Please see McAllen Ranch Horse History. Other Bloodlines come from early King Ranch horses such as Old Sorrel, Hired Hand, and Hired Hand II.
Our stallions represent a blend of old foundation breeding and new performance breeding to create a well rounded and handsome ranch horse.

Description: Zanderford has been a wonderful addition to our horse herd. He has given us the exact colts we have been looking for, especially the fillies. His conformation easily passes on to our colts, small head and a big hip. He is establishing the rock solid foundation for our broodmares.
He is sired by Alexanders Hand, not a well known stallion, but a producer of great females. And his pedigree streches back to some of the great stallions of the King Ranch, horses such as El Columpio and Hired Hand. He also has one of the largest percentages of Cowboy you will find in a quarter horse today. His breeding fee is $650.00 plus mare care.

Description: Par Three Jack was the cornerstone of our breeding program starting the in the late 1980's. He was purchased from family relatives at El Mileno Ranch in Rio Grande City, Texas. He is the son of the legendary Par Three and Maternal Grandsire to the legendary Two Eyed Jack. His bloodline is very similar to the great Zan Par Bar. He was a big, stout, horse which we kept many fillies from. We treasure his mares that he left behind and try to maintain their bloodline through our broodmare band. He was retired to the Moreland Ranch in Gatesville, Texas and is recently deceased in 2008.
